Chinese medicine for health & healing

Situating in the forest, with ice and snow, not mixing with the dust of peach and pear flowers.
Suddenly fragrance emerges one night, spreading to heaven and earth, bringing spring to all the land.

– Wang Mian, Yuan Dynasty poet

Naomi Brownson, licensed acupuncturist

Naomi Jankowitz has experience treating a wide variety of conditions, including pain, allergies and asthma, digestive disorders, mild to moderate anxiety and depression, and gynecological complaints. She specializes in supporting people with cancer, at all stages of their disease and healing. Naomi completed advanced training in the use of acupuncture in oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and worked with people with cancer at St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to acupuncture, Naomi offers her patients Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na (Chinese massage), dietary counseling, and Qigong instruction. Naomi has been studying Qigong with the Liu family, of the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School, since 1999. She teaches classes and provides private instruction in several Qigong forms, including those that strengthen the immune system, calm the spirit, improve gynecological health, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Naomi loves Chinese medicine for its ability to harmonize body, mind, and spirit, internally and with the natural world. It is truly a medicine that works to support health, as much as to prevent and heal disease.
